The Department has M.Tech PG programme in VLSI and PhD programme in the broad areas of VLSI. The group has published more than 50 research articles in reputed Journal and conferences. The group also filed patents in the relevant areas and some are in the pipeline. The faculty members received research grant from DST, MEITY etc. and conducted GIAN Programme in the cutting edge technology. The group has research collaboration with University of Pavia, Italy and University of Inje, Busan, South Korea.The research has been additionally supported by Europractice, Global Foundries, SCL Chandigarh. The alumnus of VLSI are working in various multinational companies like Intel, Cadence, Global Foundries, Qualcomm etc. and many are pursuing higher studies at NITs, IITs and reputed abroad universities.
