Civil Engineering Students Council (CESCO)
CESCO is formed with the primary aim of exposing potential civil engineers to the challenges of profession and towards sustainable future. CESCO provides a platform to showcase and sharpen the students talent through a variety of activities planned throughout the year.
CESCO Formation
CESCO was formally inaugurated by our Director Prof. (Dr.) Gopal Mugeraya on 11th October 2019 and was attended by HoD, Dr. C. Vyjayanthi, faculty, staff and students of Civil Engineering. The inaugural ceremony was followed by presentations given by the three faculty members of the institute, Mr. Tanvesh Ulhas Dabholkar; Ms. Vanessa Fernandes and Dr. Dinesh Kumar Rajendran on truss making, paper presentations, etc. Presentations were also made to highlight the activities like that will be conducted under the council.

Activities of CESCO
CESCO organizes activities like educational field trips, lectures by professionals and distinguished engineers in the field. Videos are shown on the latest technological advancements in the field of Civil Engineering and associated streams. Competitions for model making, truss making, paper presentations, AutoCAD, quiz and reasoning games are conducted for the students throughout the year.
Utkranti 2021 was held for two days from 31st October 2021 to 01st November 2021.
