MECHANICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICAL ASSOCIATION (META)
META is formed with the primary objective of exposing the aspiring mechanical engineers to the practical aspects and professional challenges for their sustainable growth. META provides a platform to showcase and sharpen the students talent through a variety of activities planned throughout the year.
META Formation
META was formally inaugurated by our Director (Incharge), Dr. Saidi Reddy on 8th November 2019 in the presence of Dr. C. Vyjayanthi, HoD Mechanical and was attended by the faculty, staff and students of Mechanical and Civil Engineering. The inaugural ceremony included Logo launch, followed by presentations given by core team members highlighting the activities conducted and future plans. The faculty members of Mechanical Engineering shared their views on various opportunities available in the engineering stream.

Activities of META
META organizes activities like workshop in aircraft engines, robotics, IoT etc., designing competition, guest lectures by professionals and distinguished engineers in the field, educational field trips and paper presentations. Competitions for logo designing, boat making, group discussions and reasoning games are conducted for the students throughout the year.

Online Logo Design Competition
The META logo designing was announced on 07th September 2019. Around 54 entries from various colleges throughout India were received and the winner was awarded with a cash prize, medal and certificate.
