The National Institute of Technology Goa (NITGoa) is one of India’s premier technical institutions, established in 2010 under the provisions of the NIT Act (2007) and its 2012 amendment. It is functioning under the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, and has been declared as an “Institute of National Importance”, reflecting its commitment to excellence in higher education and research. The institute provides a well-structured and industry-oriented academic framework comprising five undergraduate (B.Tech.), three postgraduate (M.Tech.), and doctoral (Ph.D.) programmes across Engineering, Applied Sciences and Humanities & Social Sciences. These programs are designed to build a strong theoretical foundation complemented by practical exposure, enabling learners to excel in both academia and industry.
ICMAI-MAC emphasizes the development of rigorous theories and computational methods in various fields, including applied mathematics, differential equations, fluid mechanics, optimization, numerical analysis, data science, machine learning, scientific computing, functional analysis, and mathematical methods & models applicable to biology, finance, and other related fields. These mathematical foundations are indispensable for developing reliable, explainable, and efficient AI algorithms and computational tools. The conference addresses emerging challenges in science and engineering through mathematical modeling and AI-driven approaches. It aims to promote interdisciplinary collaboration, knowledge exchange between academia and industry, and provide a platform for young researchers to present their innovative research.

Abstracts shall only be submitted through the Microsoft CMT link given below, and no abstract submission will be accepted through email. Create your login credentials in the ICMAI-MAC 2026 conference Microsoft CMT portal, input your details, and upload the abstract in .pdf and .tex format only.
Please note that the abstract should not exceed 500 words and one page, including all the components.

Instructions for Abstract Submission:
To successfully submit your abstract, please complete the following steps:
1. Create a username and password by registering through the ICMAI-MAC 2026 Microsoft CMT submission portal.
2. Log in to your account and click "Create New Submission.
3. Enter the title of your abstract in the Title section.
4. Add all co-authors, along with their affiliations and email addresses.
5. Select at least one Primary Subject Area relevant to your abstract.
6. Upload your abstract in both PDF (.pdf) and LaTeX (.tex) formats. Submission of both files is mandatory.
7. Complete all the required declarations by selecting the appropriate checkboxes.
8. Click "Submit" to complete your submission.
9. A confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address.
10. You can track the status of your submitted abstract through the ICMAI-MAC 2026 Microsoft CMT submission portal. The review outcome will also be communicated via email after the peer-review process.
Mini-Symposium - 1
Title: Robust Control Design for Nonlinear Systems and Their Applications

Abstract: The proposed mini-symposium aims to bring together researchers working on robust and nonlinear control, stability analysis, fuzzy and intelligent control, event-triggered control, fault-tolerant and resilient control, cyber-physical systems, and emerging applications of nonlinear control. It will provide a platform for presenting recent theoretical developments, computational approaches, and real-world applications, particularly at the intersection of mathematics, control theory, and artificial intelligence.

Title: Mathematical Modeling and AI-Driven Prediction of Porous and Physiological Flows

Abstract: The proposed Mini-Symposium will focus on the application of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs), and Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) to mathematical modeling, analysis, and prediction of flow through porous media and physiological flow systems. The symposium aims to bring together researchers working at the interface of mathematical modeling, fluid mechanics, computational methods, AI/ML, ANN-based prediction, and physics-informed learning. It will provide a platform for researchers to present recent developments, exchange ideas, and explore interdisciplinary collaborations. The proposed theme is well aligned with the broad scope of ICMAI-MAC 2026, particularly its focus on mathematical modelling, differential equations, fluid mechanics, scientific computing, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science.

Title: Differential Equations in the Age of AI: Nonlinear Dynamics, Modelling and Computational Analysis
Organizers: Dr. M. Latha Maheswari and Dr. R. Nandini, PSG College of Arts and Sciences, Coimbatore, India.
Abstract: The proposed mini-symposium aims to provide a focused academic platform for exploring the interface between differential equations, nonlinear dynamics, mathematical modelling, and AI assisted computational techniques. Particular emphasis will be placed on the interplay between rigorous mathematical analysis and emerging computational approaches, fostering discussions on both theoretical developments and practical applications.
Registered participants will receive a conference kit, a book of abstracts, refreshments, and food during the conference period. Payment details will be shared with applicants after the abstract is accepted. Hence, the participants are suggested to register for the conference only after receiving acceptance of their abstracts. Accommodation details are available on the conference website.
